This course covers United States history from post-Reconstruction to present day America.

Our framework is comprised of five content strands: civics, economics, civil rights, geography, and history.

All US History students will take the Mississippi Subject Area Test for US History and must receive a passing grade on the test to be eligible for graduation as seniors.

The Mississippi US History test is the toughest state test for most students. It is imperative that students be present for class each day, as absences will directly affect them. Please keep check-outs and absences to a minimum.
