- Beta Members: Please remember to continue to check the duty schedule outside Mrs. Scott’s door. There are plenty of spots left to fill.
- SENIORS: Senior dues should be paid to Mrs. Pulliam by February 3, dues are $50 and should be paid in cash. Comp and College Algebra fees should be paid to Mrs. Pulliam by February 3rd. The fee is $50 per class. This should be paid in cash.
- Prom tickets are on sale and they are $50 per ticket. The price will increase to $60 in February and $70 in March. You can buy the tickets at the black desk during 3rd lunch on Monday’s and Wednesday’s.
- Wildcats! Let's warm up next week and show our Spirit for our games against Holly Springs Tuesday night. Wear Hawaiian shirts, leis, and flowers on Tuesday to show your Wildcat spirit!
- Interact's group photo will be taken Thursday the 30th at 7:25 in front of the Wildcat head. Wear your shirt and khakis.

On this day in 1848, the California Gold Rush (1848–1855) was a gold rush that began when gold was found by James W. Marshall at Sutter's Mill in Coloma, California. The news of gold brought approximately 300,000 people to California from the rest of the United States and abroad.
