Hey! My name is Kaitlynn Geddings! I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Memphis after six long years of hard work. I did 1.5 years of student teaching in the first grade so I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to teach first grade again! I have grown up in a family of teachers so this career has always been a passion of mine. I have four puppy children as well as a loving fiance. Some of my favorite hobbies include participating in hot yoga classes and creating custom t-shirts/tumblers.

As stated above, the majority of my teaching internship was with first graders at Arlington Elementary School in Arlington, Tennessee. I pushed my students academically and socially by maintaining high standards for them and myself. I will continue this practice with my new children at East Tate Elementary School. I take this position and career very seriously. It is an honor to have the opportunity to impact my their lives and have the ability to encourage my students to pursue all of their hopes or dreams! I am a strong believer that students learn more effectively in a fun positive environment. With that being said, your child will participate in crafts, learning games, and other fun activities on a daily basis! This is going to be a fantastic year! Let's Go Wildcats!
