Hey, Hey! Welcome to Kindergarten with Mrs. Erin!! I'm so excited to have your child in my class this year and I can't wait to meet you!

Just a little about me....

I attended South Panola High School and graduated in 2012. Once I graduated from SPHS, I attended Northwest Community College for two years then transferred to Delta State University! At Delta State, I majored in Family and Consumer Sciences with emphasis in Childhood Development. I graduated from DSU in 2016. Once graduated, I became an assistant teacher at Batesville Elementary School in Batesville, MS. I was a teacher assistant until December 2017 then accepted a teaching position here at East Tate. I love our little school and I love how it feels like home!

At home, I am "wife" to Matthew and "mama" to Hudson and Harper! Matthew and I have been married since October 2016! Twins, Harper and Hudson were born April 2019 and they are my whole world! I love being Matthew's wife and their mama! We also have one dog- Finley! We love spending time together outside playing in the yard, cutting grass (weird, I know ), watching the cows, riding the side-by-side at my grandad's house, swimming, snuggling, going to and being involved in our church, and hanging out with our friends and family!

I am in my fifth year of teaching Kinder and I absolutely    it!! Each year is completely different and I'm always looking forward to a new adventure! I love all of my past students like they are my own! Once your baby has been in my classroom, he or she will always be considered "mine!" My goal at the beginning of the year to make our room become like a family to each other because we spend a lot of time together! My door is always open, my ears are always ready to listen, and my phone is always ready to reply to any question or comment you may have! I love to take pictures and will upload pictures of our year together here on my webpage! I feel like that is the best way for parents to be involved when their babies are at school. I do ask for a lot of parent involvement because I feel that your child thrives best when the parents and the teacher are on the same page! I hope you feel the same way! I'm very organized and I try *very hard* to keep us all on a routine, because not only do children do better on a routine, so do I! (LOL!) 

I try to be an open book so if there's something missing, just ask!
